This is a full-time, night-shift opportunity.At Baptist Health, a Virtual Safety Monitor Technician plays a vital role in keeping patients safe through continuous virtual observation. These technicians review assigned patients and ensure all video and communication systems are functioning properly. Throughout the shift, you will observe patients remotely via live video feeds, watching for signs of distress, confusion, or unsafe movement. Using calm, compassionate communication, the technician provides verbal redirection when needed. If a patient requires direct assistance, the technician promptly alerts onsite nursing staff.As a Virtual Safety Monitor Technician, you will be responsible for:Provide continuous observation and surveillance of assigned patients.Verbally redirect patients from engaging in any at-risk behaviors.If unable to engage the patient, summon onsite nursing staff or a caregiver for assistance.Virtual Safety Monitor Technician Education & Credential Requirements:Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) ORLicensed Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) RequiredHigh School Diploma/GED RequiredThis Virtual Safety Monitor Technician position is located at our Virtual Monitoring Campus in Jacksonville, FL.
